2015 - Home Project...
Well, 2015 was an interesting year. I was "homeless" for most of the year... we had sold our home of 7 years and were contemplating where to live next. We spent the winter in Costa Rica thinking we could move down to the land of PuraVida... warm ocean waters, sandy beaches and hotter than heck!!. It was good to get away from the polar vortex, however, our Canadian summers are just to beautiful to pass up. Plus I missed my paints and brushes!.
We finally found a cute "cottage" on the lake. My dream for many years. Now I have a little place that I could "shabby-up". I think we did a great job of blending florals with enough wood/masculine features where we could both be comfortable in our little oasis.
Like many of you probably, I love the DIY shows especially the before/after of homes. Well I finally got this done off my bucket list. Would love to know what you think!!
