Well I can imagine your confusion when you ask "who's Josie?" or call me Josie when I am actually diane!!
Here is the simple answer...Josie was my mother who was my inspiration in so many areas of my life. For the last 20 years, I have been floral painting as my mother battled the terrible disease of Alzheimers. Along with my siblings & husbands, we have taken care of her at home with us until she could no longer endure the effects of her disease. So after a 15 year battle, Josie left to be with God May 2012. As I move along thru life without her, the pink rose is my constant reminder of her. I got my "craftiness" from her and it is in her name that I paint joyful things...hence Josie's Joys!!!!

Hi, well this is me, diane, and my wonderful hubby JM in Costa Rica!!!... This is our last vacation as we actually live in the snowy, cold yet beautiful Beaverton, On Canada.
I love to paint and create!!.. after a very successful career as a professional athlete, I stumbled upon floral painting and it has now become my hobby & passion. I especially love pink roses and that is my first go to design!!.
